Jodis Head Shot- MutzJodi Jinks is an Assistant Professor of Acting at Oklahoma State University.  Her extensive acting credits include Blood Brothers on Broadway, the National Tour of Titanic, the recreation of Dionysus in ’69 with Richard Schechner at New York Live Arts, and Fashion with the New York Actors Company Theatre, as well as numerous regional theatre productions. Television and film credits include Nothing to Lose, Holy Hell, and recently voice-overs for D.C. On-Line Universe. Jodi is a member of The Rude Mechs Ensemble Theatre Company in Austin, TX and co-directs Grrl Action each summer, their well-established outreach program.  

Jodi has taught at Texas A &M University, Texas State University, and Austin Community College.  She founded ArtsAloud as an outreach of the Rude Mechs in 2007 where she facilitated devised work with incarcerated women, women in battered and abused women’s shelters, rehab centers, and she led the Strength Through Study program at the Dell Valle Jail.  Ms. Jinks contributed the chapter entitled The Buckle on the Bible Belt in the book, Performing New Lives, by Jonathan Shailor.  In the spring of 2013, Jodi devised a new multi-media performance entitled Oklahoma Voices at OSU, and currently devises theatre with the men of the John Lilley Correctional Center with the newly founded ArtsAloud-OSU.  Jodi has been a member of Actors Equity Association for 20 years.
